When my children were little, sensory bins were not a thing - we went through Covid and everyone became hands off don't touch! The problem is, kids need to touch and feel to learn about the wonderful world around them. Touch calms, touch heals, touch stimulates our senses and gets our brains working. If someone stands in front of my children and talks for an hour about the ocean, they may retain a bit but they will be bored, they will fidget and what they learn will be limited. But if someone shows them a tide pool, lets them touch and feel the rocks, shells, creatures and cool water, they will learn so much more and be engaged in their world.

Tactile play helps our children learn, grow, develop and regulate emotions. I started this business in the hopes of bringing tactile play to more children all around the world. With sensory kits, we open the world up to children - we help them develop fine motor skills and help them engage with other kids developing social skills. Touch calms - if we are over stimulated, worried, anxious or upset - touch helps us center ourselves. Our fillers in our sensory kits are made with that in mind - natural items such as rice, lentils, beans and wood are paired with the softness of pom poms. or fabric while engaging little minds with finding treasures or learning about how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly.
